C&Gs prides itself for still being a hands-on manufacturing company. All of our racks are still built by hand, with no automated equipment. All of our saws, benders, welders, and painting is still done by hands-on craftsmanship – putting people to work, not machines.

We do look into our past to succeed in the future. One good example of this is our cap mounting system. Where most racks out there depend on bed integrity to support the rack, C&Gs rack has built-in integrity within itself and is not dependent on the bed’s integrity, helping prevent bed tear out.

Base Model JD – $290.00

With today’s truck costs, you must protect your investment. With this in mind, the Base Model JD was developed to ensure that you have the right tool for the job while looking professional and all at an affordable price.

The base model JD starts with a fully welded, solid cap mounting system – 3/16” thick x 24” long mounting feet with 1/8” thick angle across the front and two gussets stepped out to fit most tool boxes. This cap system helps prevent bed tear out. The main frame is designed to give cab protection and is constructed out of 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” 14 gauge square steel tubing. After the main frame is welded together, it is welded to the cap system. The heavy duty louvered window protection is constructed out of 1/8” steel and welded to main frame.

With image in mind, racks are built to the make, model, and year of the truck – not a one size fits all, because they don’t. Racks are finished in gloss black RUST-OLEUM professional high performance enamel which allows for easy touch-ups.


Model NMCR – $410.00

The NMCR is a more robust rack than the base model JD and includes more standard features.

The NMCR starts with C&Gs cap mounting system – 3/16” thick x 24” long mounting feet with 1/8” thick angle across the front and two gussets stepped out to fit most tool boxes. This cap system helps prevent bed tear out. The main frame is designed to give cab protection and is constructed out of 2” x 2” 14 gauge square steel tubing with dual 1” x 2” 14 gauge header. After the main frame is welded together, it is welded to the cap system. The heavy duty louvered window protection is constructed out of 1/8” steel and welded to main frame. Added features are side grab handles and two D-Rings.

Country Club Classic – $450.00

We designed the Country Club Classic with the mindset that most people use their pick-up for work during the day, but also use their pick-up to go out on the town. Just pulling a few easy pins, the rear bar removes and you have a slick looking rack you would be proud to pull up to any valet. This rack also gives you the accessibility to haul materials overhead, but remove rear bar and have access to your gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch for towing.

The Country Club Classic starts with C&Gs cap mounting system – 3/16” thick x 24” long mounting feet with 1/8” thick angle across the front and two gussets stepped out to fit most tool boxes. This cap system helps prevent bed tear out. The main frame is designed to give cab protection and is constructed out of 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” 14 gauge square steel tubing. After the main frame is welded together, it is welded to the cap system. The heavy duty louvered window protection is constructed out of 1/8” steel and welded to main frame. The rear bar is constructed out of 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” 14 gauge tubing that sit in pockets on mounting rails with two easy to remove pins. The six included “U” tie down points to help secure upper loading.

Model JD Full Rack

Most of the overhead racks out there on the market are bolt together kits, a one size fits all option, not the JD Full Rack. The JD Full Rack is a fully welded assembly where there are no bolts to work loose and less rattling noises to deal with as well. The rack is built to your pick-up, meaning the most cab protection and a contoured style matching the lines of your cab. This helps prevent a headache when exiting and entering your pick-up, as well as the image of your investment.

The JD Full starts with C&Gs cap mounting system – 3/16” thick x 24” long mounting feet with 1/8” thick angle across the front and two gussets stepped out to fit most tool boxes. This cap system helps prevent bed tear out. The main frame is designed to give cab protection and is constructed out of 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” 14 gauge square steel tubing. After the main frame is welded together, it is welded to the cap system. The heavy duty louvered window protection is constructed out of 1/8” steel and welded to main frame. The rear top bar is pinned and swings out or removes to load large items. On 8’ beds, there is an added center top bar that swings out and is removable as well.
